Penn Fathom 15 II SD Mag CM Mod Casting Multiplier Reel

The second generation Fathom star drag is built with a rigid metal frame and sideplates, but now with added features to make it more angler friendly than ever.
 
The FTHII15SD has the same spool size and capacity as the Penn 525 series which makes it just the right size for shore fishing with lines of 15lb to 25lb.
 
The magnetic braking and free floating spool means that the FTHII15SD is a well-controlled distance casting reel.
 
The one piece metal frame, metal side plates, alloy spool, strong gears and HT100 drag help give the Fathom II FTHII15SD that solid and dependable feel which you demand in a hard-working multiplier reel. The combination of strong gearing and large power handle make retrieving fish and gear a doddle.

From the boat they will cover general bottom fishing, lure work, jigging and uptiding.

These reels have been modified by Chris Macey, who has years of experience in customizing and modifying shore and tournament casting reels. Now featuring a knobby style magnetic control button.

The modification to this reel does not affect the Penn warranty.
