Zziplex TRC Beach Fishing Rod Blank
The TRC was originally to be an ongoing project for Zziplex's Lee Isham to celebrate the late Terry Carroll's input in to some of the greatest casting and fishing rods in the world and to prove Lee could manufacture a blank to this high standard. Early on it was obvious, from testing feedback, that this new style of blank was something special. The final prototype went to Steve Lewis and on his first outing he achieved his pb distance of 316 yards cementing it as one of the worlds finest casting blanks.
After Terry's recent passing there was only ever going to be one name for this blank, the TRC, after his great mentor and legend Mr Zziplex, Terry Raymond Carroll.
The blank features a parabolic action with an incredibly stiff tip. Please note, this is the stiffest rod in the Zziplex range and has been designed for tournament casting rather than fishing. It can however be useful when fishing in very rough ground marks and for large species such as Sharks & Skate.
