This rod excels at fishing clean to mixed ground, casting either multiple hook rigs or large single baits a long way. Perfect for the match or pleasure angler who is targeting species such as dabs, flounder, plaice, whiting, bass or larger species such as rays and smoothhound. The glass tip enhances bite detection at all ranges, ensuring you won’t miss those sensitive bites, but can be assured it won’t fold over in stronger tides. It has a quick recovery and is crisp and responsive when cast, the ideal long-range match fishing rod. It will handle all styles of cast with ease with no bite back. Whether you’re casting off the ground, going for an overhead thump or a full pendulum, it will handle them all. Made from a unique mix of 40T and 30T carbon, with an inner 3k carbon cloth weave for extra strength. Japanese shrink tube on the butt section and either side of the spigot to make it easy to take apart. It comes fitted with Fuji Anti-Tangle Alconite K guides and an adjustable Fuji Reel Seat. A reducer is available separately.
